Love is in the air…and valentines are on the table! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon surrounded by images of valentines from the large collection of cards preserved by the Staten Island Historical Society. Visitors to Historic Richmond Town will assist our talented craftspeople in the making of valentines for members of the local community currently living in nursing homes. Visitors will also be able to purchase Victorian-inspired valentine kits to continue the fun at home.
Admission is free, but space is limited. Please call 718.351.1611, ext. 281, to reserve your place amongst our Victorian valentine-makers.
Valentine kits can be purchased at the end of the workshop for $5.00.
