To Kill A Mockingbird is a powerful and provocative story that contains racial attitudes that we consider offensive today.  Although the language and views of some of the characters will be unpleasant to the audience, they are historically accurate and reflect a time past. 

This unique part of the American experience was woven into our national fabric decades ago and still offers valuable lessons today.
