We welcome you to share in the Christmas spirit, embracing Christmas present and Christmas Past. Experience nostalgia all through the Historic Village. At the end of the day we hope you take away the anticipation of a Christmas filled with PEACE, LOVE & JOY.  All these hallmarks of the holidays come early this year when Historic Richmond Town lights up the town on one of the most memorable nights of the holiday season!

Hosted by The Women's Auxiliary of Historic Richmond Town, experience a winter extravaganza that will offer shoppers unique holiday gifts and handmade decorations as they soak in the seasonal festivities. Ornaments, crafts, baked goods and Mrs. Claus' Attic Treasures will all be available in the Third County Courthouse.

New for this year, the historic town will partner with Carl V Bini Memorial Fund to present a Winter Wonderland of cool arctic excitement filled with bounce houses and rockin’ holiday music by Partners in Sound kicking off at 4 pm. Thousands will gather around the Traditional Town Tree when its lighted by thousands of LED lights.

Guest will see a special presentation of decorative lights by Project One, Penguin/EMCOR and Historic Richmond Town’s Board of Directors. Hot cider from an open fire will be passed around and candy canes will be gifted to all those who are natty and nice. Christmas in Richmond Town is a full day of fun that ends with a night of lights, selfies and action.

So just ask yourself. Do you hear what I hear...Santa Claus is coming to Town. Are you listening... sleigh bells ring on a horse drawn wagon. Ring-a-ling...the halls are decked.  This yuletide experience is real and Historic Richmond Town welcomes you home for the holidays!

At 5pm, PLEASE join in the walk to the Traditional Tree Lighting from the Courthouse.

Traditional Tree Lighting at 5 PM is FREE!

This year, like every year, the tree lighting is free so join your neighbors and friends under the tree!
