A Candlelight Tour is a magical excursion.  Imagine walking through an entire historic town at night guided by the glow of old-fashioned lamps.  On this wonderful tour you can  journey through three-hundred years of tradition and discover how America's most festive season came to be.

The town is illuminated by candles, oil lamps and the warmth of a flickering hearth, and enlivened by holiday sweets. You travel from house to house as you visit the people from days of old.  You are welcomed by these humble early Americans and get a taste of life gone by.  Your tour ends with a festive Wassail Bowl Reception in the Courthouse.

This is your time to get all warm and fuzzy in the spirit of the holiday season and celebrate the cheer of yesteryear. Historic Richmond Town has been presenting Candlelight Tours for decades.  It has become a popular holiday tradition for generations of families. If you are looking for something different or would like to get into the holiday mood or, perhaps, need to impress a loved one with a great find, this is the journey for you!
