Online Museum

A student in the Philippines should be able to click or tap and access some of your best material.
It's not enough that a guest can travel to you from Iowa or Schenectady, or even London, and walk through your museum and soak in the experience.  Museums should be able reach out to people who may never visit in-person.

A student in the Philippines or the Netherlands should be able to click or tap, and access your best material.  She should follow you even if she never has the opportunity to visit you in person. 

A 21st century museum needs to share its 17th - 20th century treasures in several places simultaneously.

Historic Richmond is just beginning to make this accessibility possible. We are in the middle of creating a variety of digital assets - touch points - that make open the humanities to the world.  For now we call it our...
