Greetings from Staten Island: A Postcard Tour

Join Historic Richmond Town on a historical “staycation,” a tour of Staten Island’s past through the lens of the archive’s postcard collection. Consider Staten Island as a hometown, an industrial hub, and a summer getaway. From Main Street to Bay Street, compare early 20th century street views with those of today.  The exhibition draws heavily from the newly acquired William McMillen Postcard Collection, assembled by Historic Richmond Town’s late great Director of Restoration and master tinsmith.

On view on the first floor of the Historical Museum from April 2024 to December 2026.
