Changes to Operating Hours

We regret to announce that as a result of mid-year budget cuts, we must eliminate five-day a week service. Starting November 29, 2023 HRT will be closed to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will also be reducing the number of public tour offerings. Without sufficient funding, we cannot sustain our current levels of service, and any further cuts to culture will, unfortunately, result in deeper service impacts.  We know how much our community relies on us, and we remain committed to meeting their needs. In November, the City of New York announced its most recent budget cuts, which included cuts to the arts and culture budget as well as cuts to other city agencies. These changes are the result of those budget cuts.
