Open House New York 2023

Open House New York is an annual festival of architecture and urban design. Since 2003, hundreds of museums, institutions, and private spaces have been made open to the public for tours, lectures, and special programs that connect people to the power of place.

Historic Richmond Town will be opening the Boehm House for self-guided tours for this Open House New York Weekend.

The Boehm House was built in the 18th century, and was moved to Historic Richmond Town in the 1960s. The house features an exhibit, “Discovering the Boehm House” which interprets 18th and 19th century house construction.

The Boehm House is located on Arthur Kill Road, at the Arthur Kill Road / Center Street  S54 and S74 bus stop. If visitors are driving to the site or coming from other directions, they are asked to cross at the intersection of Arthur Kill Road and Richmond Road, where there is a crosswalk. Visitors may also check in at the 3rd County Courthouse Visitor Center, at 441 Clarke Avenue.
