Research & Library
Whether you're a student, a historian, or a family genealogist, Historic Richmond Town's library provides a vital resource for local history research.
Library holdings include more than 15,000 published volumes; an extensive archive representing Staten Island families, businesses, and organizations from the 1600s to the present day; and thousands of photographs of local people and places.
The library is open by appointment only for anyone who wishes to conduct research on site; we will also make every effort to respond to research requests.
Our library research fee is $30 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour. Historic Richmond Town members receive one free hour of research per year.
